my collection of vinyl includes a few rare gems. 1 ) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Street Survivors with the flames which was pulled after the tragic plane crash.
2 ) Guns n' Roses - Appetite For Destruction original cover with the "rape scene' on the front cover
3 ) Blind Melon - Galaxie red vinyl
4 ) Beatles - White Album with photos included
5) Motley Crue - Helter Skelter picture disc

The most recent "rare" vinyl I picked up was at the Eugene Record Convention. It is a copy of the Beatles "Very Together" the cover has a candle holder with 1 candle blown out. I sold a copy of Tool's "Anemia" for $250.00 in order to buy the the first 2 Melon albums on vinyl, but bought a new 5-string bass instead.

Greg and I just picked up the Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique" today. It's the 180 gram 20th Anniversary edition. It sounds great!

Traffic- The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (I heard BM compare themselves to these guys, so I'm checking them out) I think you are gonna dig this album... Plus Jim Gordon was drumming for Traffic at the time so rest assured that you did purchase a good record ;D

I did like that album Greg! ;D it, for the most part was pretty acoustic. I could kinda see the "Melonesque" progression/jamminess. The vocals weren't anything special. but the music did move around alot

The vocals weren't anything special. but the music did move around alot You should check out more than just that album although Low Spark is awesome ...I love Traffic...great live band as well...another band I grew up with listening to my Dad's vinyl...One day his vinyl collection will be mine but i am def not in any hurry to inherit it!!!!!
