I'm coming over from eastern washington and it would be cool to meet up with some other fans.

i just come back from the show
it was unreal! the best show i've ever made in my entire life! the crowd was singing and dancing all the time. It took me a few minutes to get back to reality after the show.
then i went on the sidewalk near the bus and I saw Chris and talked to him for a moment. He talked about a festival in Spain in August.
Then i said hello to Glen and Brad. I was on my way to the hotel when i met Rogers. There was a girl from Vancouver who asked him to come to Canada and he said they have some problems with their passport. I remember he had the same problem when he was touring with The Tender Trio.
That was a great great concert!

Hey Vincent! Awesome to hear this... too bad we were not together during the show. Anyway, great it was soo cool, it seems promising to me for whan I am around. How many gigs did you in total see? Awesome they wanna be in SPain, I hope they will make a small european tour. I definately wanna talk to the tour manager. WHat do you think about a show in the Ancien Belgique ;-) Great venue for great bands!!! hehe Have fun Vince, hope to see you some time... It's not a problem with their passports per se which is why they can go to Spain. It's an issue with Canada. I'm not allowed there either.

Glen and Rogers both told me they're comming to Spain in September, not August  I'd rather see them come in august though, cause I want to go to the vigil this year and I'll be BUMMED if they'll be doing a european tour when I want to go to the states!!! It would be a torture to decide where to go! Best thing ever would obviously be if they'd be touring not far from Indiana around the vigil time!  btw, I tried looking for a festival in Spain in september to see what date they might be there but couldn't find one. If anyone else has more luck please let me know. |

Well, I didn't put it together last night, but you were right behind me during the show Vince, and you actually shot a picture for me with Chris... THANKS! I believe you are right that he said Spain in August. They must be starting in late August and going into September.
I never take pictures of shows that I go to, since you are never allowed SLR's. But there were allowed last night apparently, and I didn't have mine. Although, I did have my small point and shoot. I shot a total of 299 pictures, just messing around trying to get some decent shots without flash. I managed to get a few decent ones... I'm in the process of sorting and uploading them. So they will be up very soon. (Like the next couple hours!)

Wow, thanks for the pics guys, they are great! my favorite:   I never take pictures of shows that I go to, since you are never allowed SLR's. I took my SLR to 5 or 6 shows and never had a problem except in Norfolk when the staff guy said I'm not allowed to have it but I was really lucky that we were just talking to Chris at the moment when the guy came to me so Chris told the tour manager to get me a photo pass and it was all good. I never had problems at any other venue when Blind Melon was playing. Ahh yeah, I also needed a photo pass in DC I think but I got it too (thanks Mere!). |
