Just a brief update on tonight's show. They played "I Wonder!" I have been checking setlists almost daily and this is one I have not seen on a list before Omaha on Sat. night and then tonight I heard it with my own 2 ears and couldn't believe it. Excellent show. Travis is the real deal.
Other highlights: the "Hello/Goodbye" intro Sleepyhouse - Travis said that song gives him chills "every fucking night we play it...." and it did the same to me... Wishing Well Sometimes - the best of the new Melon songs Soak the Sin Time - during the breakdown I couldn't stop saying "...all the pretty, pretty, pretty colors..." in my head....
Seriously, if you have any reservations about what the band is doing now, stop being stubborn, go see a fucking show and witness it firsthand. The spirit is alive and well. Watch the smiles on their faces and tell me it sucked. You won't. You can't. This is the new chapter. Remember how much Empire kicked so much more ass than Star Wars? Well, yeah, it's kind of like that. It touched my soul, just like it used to. And I'm 13 years older. This music is timeless....amazing....that's all I got.

AND....
They announced a new date onstage tonight-- back in St. Louis again!!! They're going to be at PointFest on May 18 at what used to be called Riverport Amphitheatre.... what the hell is it now. It might still be called the UMB Bank Pavilion. I'll check it out lol, they confuse me when they change the names of places.
Anyway, this was total news to me! It almost gave me the impression that this deal had been worked out on the spot, lol. Tickets for this festival are normally a lot more expensive than these little club shows, usually 50, 60, 70 dollars.... Hope I can figure something out!!!

I'm soooo happy for you that you're there cause I know how it is when you come such a long way and I'm soooo happy you all had a blast!!! ;D hey, where was Billy?? I really hope he made it!!! Billy was there too but not front row and he gave us a big hug like you asked him to! Jayson also was here and of course Ryan, Charity and her husband Schizo as you can see in the video We got to meet Glen and Rogers after the show. Glen was at the bar and i told him i came from france and he said "are you vince?" and i went and during the show Rogers look at Ryan and said hello and then he looked at me and i could read on his lips he said "are you Vince?". After the show, we've seen Travis near the bus but he didn't stay (it was pretty cold outside). And then Rogers came to talk to the fans for a few minutes. It was really nice! These guys are having so much fun that it's contagious! I still have a stupid smile upon my face! next show for me will be Aspen. I am right now in Colorado in the mountains .It's lovely!
