Ha, I already scoped out Expedia and found a affordable plane ride and hotel. As soon as they announce this show, a'bookin' I will go.

Seriously, I'd pay good money for that. Me too. Damn, that would be cool. Do we have a location for this possible show? If it does happen - it bettter be all ages, and I better be able to go. It probably won't be all ages, since most shows they have played have been in 21+ venues. Just get a fake ID - I saw a really young looking girl who definitely wasn't 21 get in with a fake at the Double Door. They seemed to be lenient about that sort of thing, since you're gonna be going for the show, not the liquor.

That was such bullshit. I don't see how they could even arrest you for that. What a bunch of dicks. The show was great though and I had an amazing time despite all the shit you guys went through.

Oh that guard was a D*CK! He was all pumped up and happy to threaten people, he probably isn't happy with life if his career is all about tracking down people at concerts and threatening them.
I hope he enjoyed the show, maybe a little Melon rubbed off on him.

Guys - sorry to be the messenger with bad news, but I was speaking with Colleen earlier today and it doesn't appear that this is happening. Obviously, we can wait for some sort of official word from the band, but I figured i'd post that info here in case anyone (like me) was delaying making NYE plans until Blind Melon decided what they were doing. Unfrotunately, from what I am hearing - New Years eve is not happening in Chicago or anywhere else. Who wants to chip in and try to hire them for a private forum party???

Thanks sucks Keith! I was hoping they could pull something together. Shall we start a collection for the forum party?

It should be Keith. You are quite popular with the band.

There is always a standing offer for BM to play the 3155 Basement (aka Doug and Kacie's bedroom) (unofficial)

It's a hell of a lot nicer than Tremont was.
