I heard this at the show, but I remembered it when I listened to the recording. At the end of 'No Rain' Travis informs that crowd that, "You just got gonged!" hahaha! That was great. When I saw the gong on Glen's drum set I was wondering when he would finally use it. I remember him hitting it at least twice during that show.

I love the gong. I think he should use it more often.

In Raleigh he gonged, I think in the middle part of Soup right after it picks up ..."I'll make you all go...(guitar....GONG)...away..." or something like that. He gonged then flipped off Rogers. I asked Glen about it after the show, and he started to tell me about how "the gong is the ultimate f-you, isn't it..." but then he got pulled away for a pic so I didn't hear the full explanation So as I contemplated his answer, I thought, if the gong is the ULTIMATE f-you, why does it need to be supplemented with the finger!? Glen?

I think the finger is sort of like the exclamation point...it's purely for punctuation.
