I, and I am sure some other Canadians as well, beg you guys (if you read this forum) to come up here to play. I heard a torrent of one of the live shows on the tour with Nico singing and everything and wow...sounding really good and we would love to have you up here. I personally live in Hamilton, Ontario Canada and it would be great to have you here, but if you could come to toronto that would be good too!!!

I feel the same way ! I really hope the new Melon comes to Canada (Toronto area) I've been looking for a tribute band to see for more yrs than I can believe and not a single one anywhere around here..then to have 3 of the 4 original members to band up again with a new singer that does the band justice...just gotta come to Canada guys !

Looks like we might have to wait until the nice weather is back! Not a bad trade off

Canada loves blind melon as much as Jesus (no offense anyone, hyperbole or whatever) Some east coast love would be amazing! Halifax, Moncton, saint john, Fredericton ... my apartment.. all good choices. perhaps the bar i'm sitting in at this very moment. if they will come i will make it happen. this place is comparable in size to say "the big easy" except with another room on the side. nice big brand new stage. built her myself.(w/ a lot of help from my friends) or perhaps the imperial theatre up the street would be a better choice. or even harbour station up the street (former ahl arena, now qmjhl) i know the fella who does the bookings for the marquee club in Halifax - told me he wanted to bring them there. i hope so! but if i have to go to Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto etc. i will....

I dunno bud, does the Kdor really hold over 220 (Big Easy)? I seen Will Hoge there a couple summers ago...and it seemed more like 80-120. I was thinking Club Monte Carlo in East Saint John would be cool. i think they'd hold at least 400; and i love the horseshoe balcony. I think the Imperial would put the price of tickets up too much for people round here, though they'd hold what bout 800? EXCELLENT venue....just might end up pricey for some. NOW, I'd have to agree the Marquee in Halifax would be AMAZING for Blind Melon. I think that East Coast Canada has many, like Portland, quaint lil places that'd accommodate the band well enough. I think they'd have to stick to Moncton, Halifax, and Saint John in order to sell out. I know i'll be travelling ALL nite long if i have to go to those places

yeah "a khord" holds 200 easy, when you move the tables out. It's not at all the same place it was a few years ago. compared to the big easy the stage room is slightly smaller but the overall venue size would be about the same. i am of course biased as i have been working here for a year. i'm just saying it's do-able. the monte carlo is a nice spot though, no doubt. i think it's only a grand to rent the imperial theatre, but i don't think you'd be able to fill that place. i dunno. i think u could get 200 people to pay 20-25$ a ticket though, for a small venue show of blind melon caliber. its fun to dream

true true. it'd be nice to know what the bands needs are; as far as what interests them in playing what "type" of venue bud, between the two of us.....we should somehow contact some venues, and let 'em know what the deal is; and perhaps pass along some of the new tunes, along w/ some contact info. dreams come true man......here we are NOW where we never thought we'd 12 years ago!!!!!!! #rock# *wing nite was fun, man!!!! not the swings, they were lame; but the house band rocked!!! the first band SUCKED....hafter do'er 'gain sometime ;D*

I was wondering about this myself, as I have family in Toronto and would love to combine a tour date/ visit with my family. Not to mention there are several forum members that are from Canada who would go insane if they were to come there. Let's keep our fingers crossed..... Megs
