WOW, so many great bands!!! I'd rather see MMW without Scofield though, I hate it when he plays with them, it spoils everything. Do you just dislike John Scofield and his style of playing or just the collaboration of MMW w/John Scofield?

Does this mean that Blind Melon won't be touring Europe for two months? Travis said they will for sure... but I doubt they'll fly from Europe to Florida just for the festival and then back to Europe. Barb, this is what Glen said: According to that statement, Glen says they'll be back in the US by March which is confirmed by their scheduled performance at Langerado. It looks like they'll only be in Europe for the month of February. Don't worry though, they'll probably pack a lot of shows into one month. I imagine they'll want to cover as much ground as possible while they're in Europe.

Do you just dislike John Scofield and his style of playing or just the collaboration of MMW w/John Scofield? To be honest, I never listened much to Scofield solo stuff. I think I only listened to a few songs on his Myspace and didn't like them particulary (I didn't hate them either, just something that left me pretty much indifferent). The thing is, I absolutely love MMW, but when Scofield plays with them, the music is all...I don't know how to call it in english...heavy? I don't know, I just don't like what they do together. It's not the same feel, not the great groove of MMW. I'm not saying Scofield is a bad musician, I just don't like MSMW, MMW alone are so much better, one of my fav bands! Barb, this is what Glen said: According to that statement, Glen says they'll be back in the US by March which is confirmed by their scheduled performance at Langerado. Yeah, well Glen said "may" or "may not" and I was hoping if they'll be back in U.S. in March it would be at the end of the month, not on 6th!!! All that I hope now is that they'll start the european tour in January.

btw, if they play every day in february instead of playing during two months it's even better, that way I take two weeks of vacation and see 14 shows haha, keep on dreaming barb...

I won't be surprised if we see them play a lot of festivals this year. From what I understand they are very interested in it. I'm predicting they'll at least be at most of the big ones (Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, High Sierra, etc.).

If they make it to Bonnaroo I'll die! Im meeting up with a whole bunch of melonheads at Shannon's and then heading to Bonnaroo, a minibus full of us! ;D Melon playing it there would make it all the more perfect!
