After reading Glen's post in his section about the upcoming tour dates I did a little investigating at the Lincoln Theatre's website and sure enough, Blind Melon is scheduled to perform on 12/2/07! #dance##dance##dance# www.lincolntheatre.com

I'm thinking more and more about this show. Maybe, just maybe I can take off from work another day. It's only a 500 mile drive. If I do it in one straight shot it should only be 9 hrs or so back to NJ. Then I could make it to work on Tues.... just pondering. (Yes, I know I have a Blind Melon addiction folks)

Maybe, I"m still seeing if it will work. That would mean that I'm taking off 5 days... 4 of which would be sick days. Just don't know if I should do it yet. What about you Mere, can you make it?

I just checked the distance and its pretty far....Plus its on a Sunday and I used up all the rest of my vacation for Lancaster and Falls Church....I'm out for the year I do have sick hours.... #whistle# hmmm... I really wanted to go to three shows...I have two for sure....but 3 is the magic number and all. Ill have to map it out and then try to convince Neil to let me go that far without him. For a loud snoring guy he sure is protective.

I'm still undecided. I would have to call out sick for 4 days which is kind of a lot. Technically my work can require a doctor's note after 3. "Please excuse Karen from work as she was following Blind Melon through NJ, PA, VA and NC." That would be interesting. I honestly don't think my direct supervisor cares, she loves me. But our supervisor can kind of be a little bitchy about time off.
The only part that stinks would be driving home on Sun. I would have to do it straight through, which I'm not a huge fan of. Now, if someone, say Gabby or Ryan, were to require a ride to the airport on Mon AM and were willing to drive my car so I could sleep a bit....that would be a different story. I don't know...the wheels are turning in my head.

I talked to Gabby last night and she said she would have to ask her boss if she could get off work Monday. She said if she can't get off work she would fly home Sunday night after the show. If she can get off she said she would fly home Monday. You might want to send her a PM before she buys a plane ticket and see if she would be interested in driving back with you and flying home from farther north.

Yeah, I talked to her last night. I guess when she figures out what she's doing then I'll decide. Such decisions!

I couldn't ask for anything more. What about a little private show and party with the boys and melonfriends at your house? #shuffle#

Yes that would be the icing on the cake...however the party would be pretty lame b/c my mom will be staying with us and the kids do have a bedtime.
