HELP! I don't know what to do now. American tour is on my mind since so long that it's hard for me to say I'm not going and that I'll wait until february to see Blind Melon in Europe. But it would be more reasonable (however, I'm not a reasonable person). I've never been in America so I'd also LOVE to travel there! And the energy at the shows might be more magical cause more people know Blind Melon there. AND I'd meet some of you crazy american melons!!! But...but...I'm in Europe, european tour would be much cheaper for me so I might be able to see more shows, follow them around longer and there's tons of cities I haven't seen in Europe either. Would any of american melons come to Europe for the tour??? It would be a great opportunity to visit the continent AND see Blind Melon I'm thorn! (but not christopher - ha, I'm so funny!) Help!

I'm biased because I want you to come here! But... I do understand your reasons for thinking it might be better to not come to the states right now. IF money is the issue, maybe you could realistically see more shows in Europe and it may be cheaper than coming to the U.S. ...then you could save up for a few months and come to America in September during vigil time. IF money is not an issue, come to America in Nov./Dec. for this next part of the tour and then see them again in Europe in Feb. Just remember that if you come to America and the band plays in N.C., you can crash at my house and have a free room and food for at least one night. I'm sure there are other friendly melons who would let you crash with them too. Plus, your concert tickets will be free b/c you're staff so you'll save a little $ that way. I think you'll need to see the tour dates before you will be able to decide for sure.

You're right, I'll probably need to see the tour dates first. But I doubt that european dates will be announced before the american tour is finished. The money is an issue, as well as my days off at work. If I go to America, I don't think I'll be able to see much shows in Europe, it all depends where they'll be playing but I suppose it will be places like Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Italy, Spain, Joel said Sweden, hehe... and all these places are pretty far away from Slovenia (except for Italy but if they play in Rome it's far away again). It's not like I can do a few hours drive and be there, I still need to travel pretty much. But the plane tickets for Europe are obviously much cheaper than for America. We could even meet somewhere with a few melons and go by car, THAT would be AWESOME!!! A ROAD TRIP IN EUROPE, WHAT DO YOU SAY MELONS? I have friends in Paris, Antwerp (Belgium) and Amsterdam, so I might be able to save some money there too. (of course, there's a Sleepyhouse in Slovenia as well, but I doubt Slovenia will be a part of their tour, I'm trying to get them here though ) IF money is the issue, maybe you could realistically see more shows in Europe and it may be cheaper than coming to the U.S. ...then you could save up for a few months and come to America in September during vigil time. I was thinking about this as well, I could visit America next year when I come to the vigil... bah, it's just that I had this idea of the american tour in my mind for so long...and when I have an idea planted in my head it's hard for me to get it out. But it's possible... Sonya, you, Greg and the kids need to make a little nice trip in Europe in February, you know you want to You can find flights for Europe for $400 both ways which is pretty cheap, I know it's still a lot of money though.

hey barb well, as you know, i'm in similar situation ... wanna go to both america and europe, lol .. i totally know what you mean .. ouch ... hurts! ... i love the idea of european tour and following them around, even if it's just a few of us! but europe can get expensive, even more so than america, gas and food ... plus i have additional costs getting the euro visa so i can travel freely from country to country, but maybe it's not even possible, if i need a separate visa for each country it's def too expensive ...but i guess you don't have that problem ... america sounds more exciting tho, it's a dream, but would you be able to go to the vigil next year? i don't know, i's a tough one ... i'd say listen to your heart and do what it commands you to do

And I thought melons were the least selfish spieces on Earth haha, j/k, I still think that I SO want to meet you all as well!!! But I'm leaning more and more towards european tour. All would be more simple that way and I could see more shows. The only thing I'm afraid of is that they'd play only like 5 shows here and then go elsewhere...but hopefully (and probably) this won't be the case. If I decide for Europe, I'll do my BEST to see all you folks next year when I come to the vigil and then do a trip in the states! If you came to America and then to a couple shows in Europe you would still be able to the vigil right??? america sounds more exciting tho, it's a dream, but would you be able to go to the vigil next year? No matter what I decide, it doesn't change much about me comming to the vigil next year. After the tour (european or american), I'll be broke anyway, and I'll start saving for the vigil. Anyway, thanks for all the input, although I agree that only I can decide and I should listen to my heart. For now I don't hear it too well, it's not speaking loud enough, lol, but I'm sure it will, I just need to wait a bit and calm down, I'm too fuckin' excited.

And I haven't noticed anything different about the wrap (or however it's called, I'm too tired to think...). btw, I'm glad you're posting too! You better keep on with it ;D
