Because what happens if Melon isn't playing anywhere during September.. Or what happens when Melon plays west coast in September... Jeezzzz well I hope they take our plan into consideration while they arrange their tour itenary.... Yeah, I hope that too! But they probably won't change their plans because of a cool plan of a few crazy melons, lol. But we could still suggest them to play close to (or in) Indianna around the vigil time cause I think it would make a whole lot of sense! There will be plenty of melons there at that time! It would be so awesome! Let's pray our dreams come true, hehe Paul, this is great that you have a driving license for towing bigger trailers! That should be enough for a motorhome, at least I hope so. But it's still not cool if you have to drive ALL the time, it will be a long trip...I have a normal driving license so I just hope it's enough to drive a motorhome. I know Gabbee has a driving lisence too but I don't know if she's in. GABBEE WHERE ARE YOU??! WE MISS YOU ON THE FORUM! COME BACK! I hope things slow down for you soon!

Hey Joel, Awesome mannnn you're in! Don't worry about the driving, I love driving and everything cool! I have a regular driving license and also for towing bigger trailers.. No trucks though heheh Okay, to tell you more about the flight tickets... when i went to the vigil in 2004 I flew in on Chicago and back to Holland from Atlanta. Actually that combined flight ticket was cheaper then a both way Chicago. So maybe go and talk to a travel acengy whenever we have dates announced. As i said before, till that time we can't do anything. Because what happens if Melon isn't playing anywhere during September.. Or what happens when Melon plays west coast in September... Jeezzzz well I hope they take our plan into consideration while they arrange their tour itenary.... Anyway, Joel cool you're in! We keep in touch! Paul You bought a combined flight ticket from Holland to Chicago and back from Atlanta to Holland...How much did it cost and what company was that? How did you get from Indiana to Atlanta and was that cheap? It`s a possibility for me to fly to Amsterdam. There`s commercials often on the radio of really cheap tickets from Stockholm to Amterdam...And i have always wanted to go there so would be great to spend a day or two there... So it`s not a problem that i don`t have a drivers license..Whooohh what a relief!!..lol I`ll make it up to you guys somehow..Fix dinner or clean the motorhome..Be all of your bitch with other words!...

Joel,
I payed a bit over 450 euro for the combined ticket Chicago and back from Atlanta. After the vigil I got a ride from a Melonhead who lived in Charlotte NC, from there I grabbed a Greyhound bus to get to Atlanta. I went there to see a Tragically Hip show :-) which was excellent!
Cleaning the Mobile home could be excellent, I rather drive then clean and whooaaah I am a messy boy hehe ;-) No sweat, Damn let the boys announce their tour!!!
Peace Paul

Joel, BWI is in Baltimore. They do international flights. Out of the Baltmore/D.C. area Dulles has more international flights between the two airlines but BWI is worth checking out. I think Boston has an international airport too if you want to fly into the New England part of the country, but I don't know the name of it, maybe it's Logan? Dulles website: www.metwashairports.com/DullesBWI website: www.bwiairport.com/If you go to those sites you can look up all of the airlines that fly in and out of those airports.

Barb, it probably all depends on the size of the motorhome. If you get one that is meant for 5 people, I'm 99% sure you won't need a special type of driver's license. If you rented one of those big tour bus motorhomes (like the really expensive ones I showed you earlier in this thread) you would have to have a special license.
Greg and I have rented U-Haul trucks to move from house to house and you can rent very large trucks without needing a special license, so I'm sure it's the same for renting motorhomes. If it has an automatic transmission you should be safe. The larger, longer trucks with manual transmissions are the ones that require a special truck driver's license. The gears are not the same in the big trucks as they would be in your personal car for instance, so you need to have a class to learn how to shift the gears.
