I wonder is anyone else besides me eating fried turkey? That's what we always eat on Thanksgiving down here in fact I've only had baked turkey once on Thanksgiving. I had fried turkey once it was great but at the same time I accidently started my deck on fire, nothing burned down but it was a bitch to put out

I've never had fried turkey. Does it taste different than baked turkey?

Oh! Yeah!! Deep fried turkey is the bees knees, especially when you inject it with spices.

my sister and I were having this weird conversation about how the night of thanksgiving would be a good night to rob people's houses because everyone is in a dead sleep due to the Tryptophan in the turkey. I don't konw how it came up but suddenly we were talking about the best way to rob a house

I've never had fried turkey. Does it taste different than baked turkey? It's distinctive for sure. I personally like it a lot better.

I eat meat so it's a little stupid to say that, but don't you feel sorry for all the turkeys that are killed because of the thanksgiving? I remember once we got really stoned with a friend and drove to another city. We stopped at a gas station on the way there and there was a huge truck full of turkeys. The turkeys were each in its own small "box" so they couldn't move much. They were all still there and starring at the two of us who were starring at them. We started laughing after a while but woah, being all stoned and have all those turkeys in boxes starring at you...it sure did something to me, it's been about 10 years and I still remember that. And I still eat turkeys too (not much though, I'm not a big meat eater). But sometimes I remember all those turkeys starring at me...

How depressing is that Barbara? lol hmmm...since I don't eat turkey so often and I don't think about those turkeys starring at me every time I eat one...it's quite ok

Greg and I were talking about how weird it is that eating Turkey makes you tired because typically eating meat gives you energy because of the protein, etc. We decided that the Turkey has evolved over time to develop the ability to sedate us when we eat them so that one day they will rise up and take over the world while we sleep.

We better stop eating turkeys! #outtahere# Hmm...maybe those turkeys were actualy trying to hypnotise me and my friend I don't feel full of energy when I eat too much meat though. If I eat just a stake it's ok, but when I eat like those big meals with plenty of meat I don't feel so good after it.

That's true...I would love to become vegetarian but then Greg reminds me how much I love it when he cooks steaks and ribs on the grill. I can do without my own cooking with meat, but I would really miss Greg's cooking!

LOL sonya, I know what you mean. I could avoid meat too if I'd eat only what I cook. When I lived on my own I actualy never bought meat. Maybe like twice a year. But when you go out or you go eat at someone else's place and they prepare a delicious dinner with meat I just can't resist!!! I love the taste too much.
