Anyone watched it yet? I think it's interesting to see these celebrities going off to to rehab thinking it's going to be a vacation. Perhaps it's the editing, but everyone looked like they were having such a great time the first day. I know you get loaded before you go to rehab, but they looked like they were having too much fun. My favorite part so far was Mary Carey getting her pornos and dildos confiscated.  |

Greg and I just saw an episode and it's our new crack. We saw the episode where Jeff is going through withdrawals and sounds like a Gremlin when he's moaning and groaning. I think it was episode 3...did they ever say what drugs they are all in there for? I imagine Jeff was addicted to some sort of opiate but I haven't heard them say yet what it was. The show is a train wreck which is what makes it so fun to watch...and I thought the Surreal Life was crazy! |

I watch this show like it is my job. Jeff is addicted to pretty much everything. He has a bunch of pain meds that he has been prescribed for a back injury he got filming Grease. He no longer takes them in pill, but crushes them and snorts it. He also does cocaine and crack. The chick from Family Matters kind of seems like she doesn't belong there though. She says she is addicted to weed, but since weed has no physical addictive properties why is she in rehab?

The Family Matters chick is in for weed probably because she does nothing but smoke weed every day, all day. I think if it interrupts your life it should probably be treated. I love this show!!! I love the Resident Tech Shelly. She can be such a bitch but she cracks me up. I loved when she asked Jeff why he wasn't dead after he tried to kill himself so many times. |

I also thought it was funny when she called Jeff out on his 20+ suicide attempts. I'm sorry, but if you seriously wanted to kill yourself it wouldn't take you more than 20 times to figure out how to be successful at it. Jeff's girlfriend is a quite a character - he needs to get rid of her. I think Daniel Baldwin is a trip. He goes off on these crazy monologues and acts like he thinks he's one of the counselors. I caught another episode and it seems like he's always complaining and whining about everything. He is a supreme bullshitter and I get a kick out of watching him react to shit. He really knows how to push Jeff's buttons too which is funny to watch. #haha# What is up with the UFC guy telling the story about how he crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler and then draped his gf over the steering wheel BECAUSE HE THOUGHT SHE WAS DEAD so he wouldn't have to take the fall for causing the accident! What a piece of shit this guy is! He seriously has no morals....but the thing that really gets me is that the girl took the fall for him and she is STILL WITH HIM! That's insane!!! I think some of the people who are in there really need the rehab, but some people are just there to further their careers. How does that saying go? Any press is good press? It doesn't matter what the media says about you as long as they are saying something about you...I think Baldwin is trying to repair his image after acting like such a douchebag on Celebrity Fit Club. It is Hollywood after all...I think most celebrities have ulterior motives to promote themselves no matter what they do. I have it programmed into my DVR now so I won't miss another episode. |

You're right about Baldwin. Did you see the preview for Thursday's show? "This environment is no longer conducive to my sobriety" In my opinion, if he's been clean for months he shouldn't be on the show. He's at a completely difference stage of recovery than the others.
And Ricco, the UFC guy, what an ass. I think he's still with the girlfriend isn't he? I would kick my boyfriend's ass if he did that to me! So instead of checking for a pulse he dragged her body over to save his ass. What a dick!
I love Chyna and how she still doesn't know why she's there. Has she seen the Surreal Life that she was on? She was a train wreck!

I don't think Baldwin realizes that he's making himself look like a total douchebag...it doesn't matter if he's sober or not, he will always be a douche no matter what state of mind he's in. #haha# I haven't seen too much of Chyna yet. Are you serious she doesn't know why she's there? #lmao# She was totally whacked out on The Surreal Life. I commented to Greg that she already seems like she's in a better place than she was on The Surreal Life. It was almost painful to watch her on that show. I thought she was going to commit suicide after watching her on The Surreal Life. She was a total mess. Here's a show I love to hate...Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. I watched a couple episodes of that and I hate it! So why do I watch it? The girls are total bimbos and Bret Michaels is completely shallow, but the show is irresistible! I can't let myself get sucked into this one... |

Sonya, just try to resist it! lol Bret Michaels is nothing but a walking, drinking, hormone. But, the girls are a mess and it is too funny to watch. I loved that the first chick that got sent home was because she was too wasted to go to the elimination! That right there told me this was going to be just as good if not better then last season (which I hate to admit I watched religiously).

I got sucked in to that one last season. I think last season was better because they had Lacy who was a crazy bitch! This season is just stupid. The show makes him look like a complete shallow moron. I mean does anyone think they can find true love on VH1?

I really like the Scott Baio shows, sadly enough. Personally, I would have punched him though when Renee told him she was pregnant and he had to call an emergency meeting with the boys to deal with it. I'm hoping that it's all an act. If not, that dude is in sad shape.
They're on VH1 on Sundays.

I have been watching this show even though it brings back some rehab memories of my own from the mid 90's, and they are all in there for pretty much abusing cocaine and alchohol.
And a quick comment about weed; part of my rehab was for habitual pot smoking daily(along with snorting coke)because they had both taken over my life together and seperately at different times, and I wanted to stop badly but just couldn't get a grasp on it without some help.

It's all crazy! Bumboklaat! Ryan it IS hard to believe what you are watching when you see these shows, and yes I've often felt dirty after watching. It's sort of a guilty pleasure for me. I have been pretty good for awhile about not watching reality shows, but I'm blaming Karen for turning me onto Celebrity Rehab...which in turn sucked me into Rock of Love b/c they played the two shows back to back - fuckin VH1...I can't allow myself to watch any more than those 2. I counteract watching that stuff with watching a healthy dose of The Office, 30 Rock, and Reno 911. The only other thing I watch religiously is Ghost Hunters. I just can't get down with the Scott Baio show. I tried to watch it one time and the guy is a self-absorbed sleezeball in my opinion. I can't watch it without getting mad because I find myself hating the way he acts so much that I start to get in a bad mood. Breck 20, I finally saw the Rock of Love episode where the girl gets so drunk that she passed out for the elimination. OMG did she have a snaggle tooth or what?!? I don't know that I'll be able to stick it out for an entire season, but I'm not ready to give it up quite yet. |
