Yea, that's right. I'm obsessed with the Sopranos. And, so is my friend ~BEE~Happy~. Not sure if we have any other fans here, but if so, join BEE and I in our Sopranos convos! TREE O' CLOCK! Many people believe that the show is basically a Mafia show. If you feel that way, don't. Yes, there are many Mafia-type situations. However, sometimes it can be very comical. Other times, it can be considered a drama about a man struggling with everyday problems, some of which some of us can relate to. For example, the main character is not only a Mafia boss, but he also struggles with his real family, has a severe anxiety order, and meets with a shrink do deal with these problems.

Doh! Just saw your question. That would be Jennifer. And, she relates to the above paragraph. She spent a full year, basically in hiding, due to depression and anxiety attacks.
Now, she plays a shrink in the show. And, everything that comes out of her mouth is basically true shit. As a person who sees a shrink, everytime she brings up medication and methods to decrease anxiety, I believe she's a true Doctor. She's amazing.
EDIT: Simple things that she says are exactly what real doctors say. For example "Either take the medication or don't. If you take the medication every so often, it will serve no purpose"... I've heard the same thing from my shrink. "If you take your medication daily, but skip 2-3 days, the mediaction you took before is basically useless. Your anxiety will increase once you start taking your medication again....and later decrease if and ONLY IF you take them everyday."
