Well I did today #blink# and that's what I probably looked like to the cop. In any case, there I am driving to go pick up my friend Karen who's at work and has no car due to it being at the repair shop. So I get to an intersection and it's a red light and I need to turn left, so la di da, I fucking look both ways and turn left. There's a cop right there, pulls me over and tells me that I did an improper left turn on a red light #faint# . Well then I realize what I did, I must of turned beet red. My best friend at this time is laughing her ass off, I coulda killed her. Well I had to do a breathalyser test which I passed of course. Then the bastard charged me with failure to obey a red light and gives me a $145 ticket. During all this I'm basically tongue tied and mentally kicking myself in the ass. That's also 2 demerit points, I haven't told my hubby yet. I feel like a real knob. That my big adventure for today. Nite all

awww man, that cop should have cut you a break......Ive done stuff like that before and its not like you meant to do it. Those red light tickets are expensive, I went through as a light was changing and it turned red over my head....and I still got a big fat ticket.

When I got up this morning he had left labeled post its on the cupboard where I keep the sugar & coffee, the fridge where I keep the milk, the drawer where I keep the spoons etc.....he's a very funny guy.

I passed on a shoulder once with my Kid in the car the cop pulled me over, but he only gave me a stern warning. It was in Riverview Michigan & those officers are known to be lets just say, jerks & don't let people off ever.I was lucky I guess.

Lol... I've absolutely done stuff like that before. I remember looking up at the light, seeing that it was red, and quite calmly and logically taking my foot off the brake and proceeding on my way. Only after I was through the intersection did I realize exactly what I had just done! I was lucky-- there were no cops around, no cars coming the other way... I felt like a total douche, though!

Oh, I have such a bad concentration and that isn't good at all when you drive...of course it gets worse if someone is talking to you and you want to listen to what he's saying and think where you will turn at the same time. Once when we went from Paris to Antwerp in Belgium, I went through a red light like this. We didn't know where we need to go, we were looking for the place where my friend was staying, going to visit him. So I was just looking all around to see if I notice any house that looks like he described it to me and everyone was talking and suggesting where to turn and I didn't see the red light. Luckily there was almost no trafic cause we were in an immense harbour and it was during the weekend...
Then when we came back to Paris I went through another red light for the same reason...I felt a bit lost and was looking where to turn, talking to my friend at the same time...luckily again, not much trafic cause it was about 4 or 5 am...

We all do stupid stuff like that. I find myself not paying attention much lately and just listening to music and thinking. I find myself at my destination and not remembering much about driving there. Scary...

If it makes any of you feel any better...
...I AM A KNOB
Seriously, theres too many things ive done in the past that make me look like a complete and utter knobhead.
I'll probably share some stories when i meet you melonheads face to face. Its easier that way.
I don't even bother to try and not make myself look like a knob anymore because that just makes it worse!
Ishbell, your fine sucked but the situation could have been worse...you silly badger.
