Shana, I received the journal today and it is safe and sound with me for the time being. You did a BEAUTIFUL job with it! I can't wait to start my entry. This is a great idea! #smileyhug#

the sand is in perfect condition. I did have to glue one stud back onto the front and I'm going to let it dry overnight. I already finished making my entry so it should be on it's way to the next person shortly. I love this idea!

We don't have an official list for the order this is going in...since Matt was the next one to say he wanted to participate I'm going to send it to him...it would make sense for him to give it to Karen when he's finished (since they are neighbors) and you guys can decide where it goes next. Here is who is participating so far:
Shana - Florida Sonya - North Carolina Matt - New Hampshire BeeHappy - New Hampshire barbara - Slovenia charityholyfield - Illinois foreverlights - Australia joel - Sweden rutterbtr - New Jersey hanna - Finland styckx - Vermont

About european melons, I suggest we do the same as with the swapbox. Once the journal gets here, it travels Europe until the last melon send it over the sea again.

Finland and Sweden are neighbour countries so it would fasten this whole project if either i was to send the journal to Hanna in Finland or she send it to me and then off to Barbara in Slovenia. It wouldn`t have to come to Scandinavia twice..Just a suggestion.

Yes, I was thinking about this too but I wasn't sure if it goes faster if it stays in Scandinavia or not.

Matt I sent you the journal today so hopefully you'll get it in the next few days...I paid for delivery confirmation in hopes that the bastards from the p.o. don't lose it. Shana, is there any way that we can keep it going after it gets sent back to you in the end? I want to see what everybody else entered after you and I.

I suggest we make scans? I know it's not the same but better than nothing. Do you have a scanner Shana, since you'll get the journal with all the entries in the end? Of course, keeping it going would be awesome too!
