I haven't started yet either, but I was thinking how it takes big maximum two weeks for mail to get to the other side of the ocean so I guess I still have at least one week to do it.

Hello everyone,
I checked the poll on this thread to see who said that they would like to participate, and there are some people who signed the poll who have not sent their addresses to Sonya. Remember, if you would like to give/receive Christmas Cards in this exchange, you need to get your address to Sonya. I don't know if it's too late or not.
I just didn't want any dissapointed melons who thought that all they had to do was vote in the poll on this thread.

YAY Mine are sent too! I just really hope all the international melons get theirs alright, the lady at the post office was kind of a bitch and just gave me a bunch of different stamps and stickers, I was pretty lost. I also couldnt decide which cards to get, I'd always get a pack and then see another that I liked more and so on til I had like 5 different sets So you're all getting different cards It was fun writing to everyone, cant wait to start getting everyones cards either! ;D

Seems like there is a bigger risk for delays in not mailing the cards on time than getting them done.. lol! We`re all a bunch of slackers!!! Except for Gabbee!..

I just PM'd everyone with a new address for verbalpocketplay. If you did not receive it, PM me and I'll be sure to get it to you. By the way, if you are outside of the U.S. you will need to add USA at the bottom of his address. I forgot to include that in all but a couple of the PM's. I will hopefully have my cards out in the mail tomorrow!

FYI about postage...I just visited www.usps.gov and looked up the amount of postage it will take to send international cards. It looks like the amount of U.S. first class postage to Europe, Argentina, and New Zealand will be 0.84 cents (3 first class stamps) for a normal size Christmas Card. The cards going to Canada from the U.S. should be 0.63 cents (2 first class stamps). If you don't feel like carrying your cards up to the post office you could use those guidelines to stamp your cards. If you are sending a larger or heavier-than-normal card it may cost more, but if you have a scale at home you can calculate all of the postage online. I do everything in my power to avoid my post office, especially at this time of year. Almost every time I go there, no matter what time of day it is, there are at least 10 people in line in front of me. My town seriously needs a 2nd post office or more counter people.

You need to move to a town the size of mine! Even at this time of year, I never have to wait for more than two or three people-- and there's only one window!

All mine are on their way! I also hate dealing with the post office, although they were actually pretty helpful this time. Tis the season I guess.

Our household's cards are sent! I feel like I've accomplished something major! The post office wasn't as bad as I expected either.

I am hoping that I get mine finished soon, because the Post Office will get busier each and every day as it gets closer to Christmas.
