You could throw up a quick poll to see how many people spend more time on the board on either saturday morning/evening or sunday morning/evening and then you would have an idea of the best time to set the date for.

I would definatley be there, it's a great idea!! I also love triptickets idea of a live feed of music, so all melons can groove at the same time!! It could be used as a rally to shine the unity on the band as well, a show of support across the board, even if there is personnal preference towards the vintage or the new, we all agree the surviving members rock, and I for one trust their judgement as far as who will help them carry on!! Rip Shannon, may he be looking down in support and love !!

haha....understood waksam I think Shana's Idea of a poll of which day /time of a weekend day is a great idea. then from there we can discuss possible dates. I think maybe after the first or second weekend after touring begins would be a good time. Perhaps some NEW live show will be circulating then, and we could have even more reason for mass amounts of Melons to unite here, who would be up for some good discussion...and game playing I should start a poll thread now, yes?

yes.
I've also been looking into broadcasting software and the only one that seems workable is live365 using winamp, but to use it (and have more than 20 people listening at once) you have to pay for it, and it's pretty expensive. anywhere from 40 bucks a month up to nearly 800.00 depending on bandwidth etc. I remember I used to broadcast music through winamp a couple years ago and it was free, now it's rediculous. I'm not sure what else to do because I don't have my own server to host music on. I was definately down for being the one to stick around all day and broadcast but I can't figure out how to do it without going broke?

I was wondering (if everone agreed with me) if we could make a size limit for posting images? Like a max of 640 or so? I think that would help tremendously with the load times.
Just a suggestion

Just a suggestion There is no way to restrict the size....at least not now, I know that with version 4.5 rolling out soon load times are supposed to be much faster on the forum all together. If that doesn't help we may have to look into other options. Until then maybe everyone can take it into consideration when posting pictures. And if the pictures are so big that they stretch out the forum they must be resized....

I should've worded my post better. That's what I was thinking, just to make it a common "rule of posting" to request that images not be larger than a certain size, saving on load time and also on bandwidth. I know the last set I posted were a bit large and I do apologize for that.
