We're pretty strapped for cash ourselves at the moment, but I'll try and send a little something by snail-mail in the next couple of days-- and I'll pm you once I know for sure what I'm doing. Hell, money troubles can bring some major heartaches, but I think we're doing okay right now relative to some kids missing their daddy and a woman without her man. I'll let you know soon.

I've been thinking about how incredible it is when we all pull together for some common purpose... When the three new songs were released, everyone chose to share the joy and jubilation here, together, as a family-- I'll never forget that weeks-long party! Now we've all been hit with this very unhappy surprise, and once again I see everyone here in this thread, as a family, feeling through it together and making out the plans of what needs to be done. It just re-emphasizes to me how deep the bonds can become among such a scattered group of individuals, proving once and for all that distance doesn't factor into feelings at all. And suddenly the recent nastiness that seemed so all-consuming in here a few weeks ago doesn't even register to me at all now. Perspective has been returned to us. I love you guys.

Charity i for one don't believe in the distance hindering a relationship... infact my wife & i beat those odds. I was told by a few friends to forget it, that it wouldn't work. SHe was in Dallas, and I in lil 'ol NB Canada. 4 years of her spending 6 months there w/ her family, then 6 up here w/ her sister. we beat all that w/ letters and phone calls, then fires getting recharged when she'd be up here for those spirts. We are now go'n on 6 years of marriage. We have so much time devoted to eachother that i cannot see a life w/out her now. anyway, just wanted to say i agree. distance can't be put between bonds. I also wanted to say i really appreciate each and everyone of you here! even through some disagreements, there's somethings that lay a lil deeper, and so it seems to keep us comin back to this place. #smileyhug#

I've been thinking about this too, it's amazing how we can all come together. It can be helping each other when someone needs to talk as well as come together doing little awesome things like the swapbox, christams cards and melon journal. And now, with passing of our dear friend, we showed one more time how strong and loving this unity is. Organizing all these things might seem obvious but I think it could be a lot harder and more complicated (or it simply wouldn't work) in a lot of other situations when so many people are involved. Words can't express how much I love this place and all of you. #smileyhug#
