So the moral is - people SHOULD post on the forums while drunk!

thanks, that was a wierd song to write, I had a chorus to a normal song but couldn't think of other lyrics, so I decided to just turn it into the strange little ditty it is, I think it works better that way

Does that mean it's today or next week? Anyway, good luck again and can't wait to see the video!

it's next week, our singer is away until thursday so if it was today (well last night to me) then I'd be proper pissed off that we couldn't do it
we're going to get separate videos made of each song so we'll have loads
I'll whack 'em on our myspace & let you guys know

Right we just did the gig yesterday, there wasn't many people there as we were first on, we did alright though & I only forgot one line, but the other singer wrote it so she 'twas a bit miffed.
Other than that we've had good reviews.
Unfortunately, we didn't get anyone to film it, forgot most likely.
BUT, in addition to the battling bands on the main stage they have an acoustic stage out on the balconey, & some acts pulled out, so later on they were offering the mic up to anyone. I thought I'd have a go, when it was my turn some guys had just been doing some freestyle beatboxing so EVERYONE was around the acoustic stage.
I shat myself, luckily I played better than I ever have before & got people singing along to Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life, I Will Not Look At Titties For A Year, London Underground, I Wanna Be Like You (from the Jungle Book) & a couple of others. I felt so great I had everyone watching & cheering! 'twas the highlight of my day to be sure!

Nice to hear that.
I use to forget words when I was in a cover song band a lot. I'd start singing the wrong version during a Bush or Pearl Jam song and then just ramble and start singing whatever came to my mind (mostly about the audience and what they were doing or wearing). Since we were a club/bar band, hardly anyone noticed. Basically a packed room fool of dancing drunks. Easy money...

It's easy, just I can't whistle so I ask the crowd to! 150 people trying to whistle in tune/time is a pathetically funny beautiful thing
