ya know, know that I think about it I don't think I've ever seen a actual eight track player that wasn't in a car.

I bought mine at a pawn shop. Then rigged it to my stereo in my living room.

bogo, you have a kickass collection! You're right, Steve Kimock band is great! You'd probably like to browse through mine and funnyface's as well. How is the John Frusciante cd? He's one of my favorite guitarists but I haven't bought the solo album yet.

he has released 8 records to date they're all good. I got into him when I heard his first to cds, he was on heroin while he made them, its a really interesting listen sometimes he sounds almost horrible but at the same time its like that exactly what he was wanting. but there are also songs that absolutley brilliant. by the way the two albums I was talking about were 1. Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt 2. Smile From the Streets You Hold; I think they're both out of print but you can still find used copies at amazon and ebay

wow...8 cd's...I guess I've been out of the loop! I heard one song he did called "Porn Song" or something like that. Do you know which one I'm talking about? I love that song but I haven't heard it in awhile.

sorry I don't remember that song, thats one drawback of having so much music you don't remember the song titles as easy, or maybe its just me #pimp#

I wanna get into Frusciante too, cause im a crazy RHCP fan, but his cds cost way too much over here... I know that on Smile From the Streets You Hold he does a song called Height Down feat. River Phoenix, and there is another song on the album River does vocals on...

No. it's an old 8-track component. I just had to mess with the wiring to make it compatible with my current stuff.

You might try pirating, yeah its universal awesome thing where you don't pay for music, pretty sweet. of course I still support buying the artists Cd's but these days most albums aren't worth buying if you only want a couple of songs off the album
