If anyone is from the OH. area, please let me know. I have been trying to track down a "Ten Pound Brown" CD. They are so freakin' similiar to Melon it's not even funny. I've only heard 4 songs of theirs. They are so amazing. Even though they are no longer a band, I still listen to these 4 songs as much as possible and am dying for a CD. orion.csuchico.edu/Pages/vol41issue4/entertainment/4.brown.html

by OH, you mean ohio, correct? i'm in akron, ohio, which is 1/2 hour directly south of cleveland. i clicked the link you posted, and it said something about being from Chico, but there is no chico, ohio. unless by OH you meant something else. but i have never heard of the band, if you hear anything else, i'd be interested, since they resemble melon. we all love melon!

I love all types of music however I do find myself listening to The Dead, Dylan, & Phish more often than most types of music. But if I had to choose between the 3. Dylan eventhough I wouldn't stop someone playing the other 2 over Dylan. I am a new music freak..I always leave my ear open to stuff I have never heard before. I'm not much on rap music or mainstream radio. I tend to lean towards public supported radio stations and internet radio. My current favorites..A few new (to me) artist that has rattled my mind and are currently in my Car CD player are... Low Millions...I like it cause its new and its in the rotation. That Elenor song is what made me want the album. Bob Schneider..Like em' cause he has a sexy voice and he has tons of great songs.. David Mead..Cause he sings about indiana and I love Indiana. Plus, that Nashville song is growing on me. Adam Hood..is there too.. 12 Daze - Bring the New is there aswell. I have been jammin' to that CD for months..
