You have to ?________? Gotta keep your spirit alive "You have to tell yourself why" With something you could never afford I think its " Was something you could never afford". Awesome job with the rest of it though, especially on the bridge at the end with the effects on his voice. Effects always makes transcribing the lyrics tough!!! ;D

That makes sense, I think you're right! Nice work! I thought it might be "was" instead of "with" but I wasn't sure. Good job on the "tell yourself why" lyric, I could not get that one for the life of me. I was surprised how easily I got the bridge with the effects, I thought I was going to have to replay it a hundred times to decipher the words through the effects, but I heard heard them loud and clear on my first attempt. Little stuff like that makes my day!

Im gonna put the finished lyrics on the very first post so that people dont have to read through all the pages if they're looking for these songs. Good idea! I was thinking it would be good to have them all combined for easy reference.

I'm not sure. On their myspace page it's "Right Set of Eyes" but on the download from Oink it's called "With the Right Set of Eyes". It could be either. I sent Travis a message and he was nice enough to respond back. Per Mr. Warren: "i actually call it, "with the right set of eyes" which i got the idea from a book by Hunter S. Thompson. I think the band calls it,"Right Set OF Eyes" so we'll have to get that straight." I don't know what it will end up as but I like as"With the Right Set of Eyes"

yeah it's one of his solo songs.
there is the recorded version that has a beat box come in a little bit through and a live version which was posted on here.
but a long time ago travis had it up on his myspace without the beat in there. i kinda liked it better without it.

oh yeah, i also have trouble with the lyrics at that one part.
to me it sounds like.....
there's times you'll get mad there's time you'll think often soft or off and soft? there's times you will listen etc
and the other part....
every thing keeps turning in the turning gates(or keeps) of time, this riddle keeps the living and the living keeps this riddle in your....eye??

I think I figured out Tumbling Down for the most part. Here's my take on it. Lyrics I can’t fully understand will be underlined
Tumbling Down
I went driving today Couldn’t help but think of how you’re with somebody else And now you’ve got a child
It’s been a few years since I saw you last I know you’re doing fine You don’t miss the broken glass
Well I won’t waste your time So I don’t call or write I didn’t mean to make you cry I just wanted to make you proud
But it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Whenever you’re around
Till the end We try to make it work We start with the yelling match And end up getting hurt
But now you’re gone And I’ve changed my shallow ways Oh you’ll never see them And you will never know
Some days I miss the noise we used to make And then I’d stop and say that I’m never going back
‘Cause it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Whenever you’re around
Please don’t forget about what we haven’t lost I’ll take it everywhere I go from here on out I’ll know you’ll do the same Whatever life you lead
Yes it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Yes it all comes tumbling down Whenever you’re around
Whenever you’re around

Down on the PharmacyThey locked you up, you're scratching the ceiling You're down on your knees, you're praying for something You're looking real high, (line to live for?) What do you do and where do you go now I don't hear that part "you're looking real high, line to live for" i hear something like this : "you're living to lie (or "You're ---- life"), lying to live for" or something jajaja but im probably deaf or something

All you wanted was… Something that was normal and stable You’ve always been so aware and so able But you still seem so far away It’s difficult to enjoy all the holidays*** It’s nothing more than the same as the other days But you can’t feel any other way
*** I thought this line goes, "It's TYPICAL to enjoy all the holidays" and I've listened over and over and can't make myself say "difficult." Can we have a friendly debate?
