How did it go Mere? Did the guy answer you if he'll say something about Blind Melon or not? Sweet! How do you "Mass Friends Request" ? There is something that does it automaticaly. I couldn't tell you where to find it though. Once I kept getting requests from a band and kept denying it cause I didn't like them. You can imagine how it started to be annoying! Then one day I got a message from them (automatic again) that said only "request send with program adder robot". So then I blocked them. Oh, sweet. I'll look into that. On a side note, American Minor PMed me asking what my login email address was... They use that email address as a "Friend's Finder" for the people on their friend's list. Beats having to rummage through 50 pages of friends to find one particular friend on your list.

I was thinking about making stickers and using them to seal all of my mail. At least everyone who sees the envelopes will be melonized. I'm sure my creditors will be thrilled!

That is a brilliant Idea Barb.....how do we find more radio stations? Hm, I thought it will be easy and I'll just type "radio" in Myspace search but when I do that mostly the bands come out. So I was thinking it would be easier to find radios on Google and write to them. We could split our tasks. I'd find radios in Europe, since I know them better. At least in Slovenia and France. If other melons are in, Marika could do the same for italian radios, Joel swedish and finnish, Lee english, american melons in the state they live in etc. This is just an example. I think it would be better if each one of us searches within their location because we know the radios better and we can tell which ones are bigger and have bigger promoting power. Once we find them, we can post the links and/or their mails here and everyone writes to them. Even if we're not in the same country, we can just say something like how Blind Melon is an awesome band that is back together and how they'll become big now so they better be the first ones to start talking about them, hehe. This is just a suggestion, if anyone has a better idea or an "upgrade" to mine, feel free to say it! Hmm, when I think of it again...maybe we should do something that will make more sense to those radios. Cause if someone writes to them that actualy can't hear them...it's a little weird, no? I mean the radios play for people who hear them so why would they be interested in a opinion of someone who can't even hear their station...so maybe we should find international radios although I'm not sure how to find out in which countries a radio plays... This is probably simplier in USA...you could just find all the big radios, there must be some that air all over the states or am I wrong?

I found a slovene international radio. From what I read, it airs only in Slovenia but it's for turists that come visit Slovenia and it airs in english, german and slovene so it could make sense if everyone writes to them. They say: So I guess this is it about my slovene radio researches, lol. I'll try to find some other european radios. This is their e-mail for wishes and suggestions: radio@club-rsi.com Their homepage: www.club-rsi.com/index.php?meid=5

Barb, the only radio that broadcasts all over North America is satellite radio. Do you have satellite radio in Europe? The reason I am trying to get everyone to request on SIRIUS is because it is satellite radio and one station will broadcast to a huge area. The only bad thing about satellite radio is that you have to be a paid subscriber to listen to it and have to purchase a special receiver in order to pick up the stations.
The way that free (commercial) radio works in the U.S. is that each city will have it's own area that it broadcasts to, probably the same way it's done where you live. Obviously the biggest cities will have the largest audience.

The thing is, I don't know much about radios, I never listen to them cause the music mostly sucks and I prefer to put in a nice cd or have my own radio in iTunes on shuffle, lol.
Sirius seems like a really cool radio though.
I'm sure there are satellite radios in Europe but I don't know them. I'll do more searching. I'm still trying to find something we could do on Myspace too...it would go faster there cause you don't spend time looking for emails etc.
