A little while after Unified Theory broke up, Brad had a bunch of stuff on Ebay. One guy bought most of the stuff, if not all of it. But I knew I wanted this case so I put my bid ceiling at an outrageous amount. To guarantee i'd get it. yeah I thought you got it from ebay I remember seeing that auction and thinking thats a once in a lifetime auction but I was too broke to buy it. Do you mind me asking how much you dropped on it including shipping?

I keep telling my wife that i'm gonna be buried in that thing. That's a great idea! And I mean it! haha, I'd love to be burried in a Blind Melon tour case!

It was a few years ago, and my memory is for sh@t, but I believe I paid $700 for it, and it cost around $750 to have it shipped from California to Michigan. Give or take a few bucks. My wife still says. "You owe me big, for that thing!" Shed knows how much it means to me. I guess you'd call it "my prized possession."

#hide# If you see me lurking outside your window and then the case is missing, it will be purely coincidental. #evil#

I paid around $700 for the case itself, then an additional $750 to ship it. To me it was worth every penny.

That case is just amazing, I would have given that much for it, maybe more. All the history that goes along with that thing.....wow! I could probably just sit and stare at it for hours daydreaming of tours and stuff.

Right-on!! That case has been to the Letterman show, Woodstock '94, Mtv, and on countless tours all over the world. Not to mention the handfull of little clubs that Unified Theory played at. I also didn't mention that Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn wrote "Thanks Jon" and signed it, in silver, on the front.

Haha that is great... hey send it over to the UK and we can sneak Bumcakes over to the US inside it... Then send it down under for me... Haha, that would be actualy cool, if we could all just put ourselves in and fly to the states by air mail...and then go to the first show.

Well I wouldn't mind if she'd puke in it if being in that case would mean I could get to the states
