I like books and poetry by Jack Kerouac, William S Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg. I like lots of books. I really love music. Mostly rock and jazz. I like Dizzy Gillespie, Medeski Martin and Wood, tenor saxophone and clarinet jazz. Avant garde jazz. Favorite painters are Max Ernst, Francis Bacon, Jean Michel basquiat.

Oh yea, does anyone have The Grateful Deads very first studio album and want to trade it for something?

I don't know if anything new is going on with this post. When I read this post though it made me smile to see such a happy post!!! I think this post made my day, what a great idea!!! Suprises like this can always brighten someones day. Not too long ago I received a package from a Melonhead friend. It was a terrible day at work, I come home on my lunch break, and a package was waiting on me. Went back to work with a big ass smile on my face. Changed my day, and outlook greatly!!!
It always feels nice to send happiness and to receice it.


So if this is still going on......... I love....

I love sitting and cuddling up into the corner of my couch with a blanket and having a nice warm cup of green tea with a great smelling candle i prefer banana nut bread and just listening to some good o'L guns and roses ballads... it really brings me to my happy place.!

Well I am at work today and its about lunch time when i noticed that an older lady at my job was looking kinda down... Her name is Terry so i walked up to her and asked her what was wrong and she hesitated for a few seconds then said that today would mark the 50th anniversary of her marriage..

So i was a lil confused as to why she would look so sad about such an exciting thing so i congratulated her.Then i preceded to asked her what was the problem, and she said her husband had died.. She had no one to share the special date with. She was a widow for so long and times like these she felt very lonely.

so i told her lets go out to lunch and we did and we talked about her younger years and her times with him for about 45 min.. And we are also gonna catch a flick this weekend together.. It made me feel great to see that smile on her face.. she deserves it! ;D

Where i come from we call them RAOKs (random acts of kindness). my friends and i have been doing them for 10 years this year. Part of a group of people world wide called Join Me , and started by accident by an English writer called Danny Wallace (who as well as writing the book Join me also wrote the book of the film Yes Man staring Jim Carey.

anyway, my raok is recomending his book, Join Me. its a brilliant read, and if you're already into the idea of RAK or RAOK then you'll love it!
