Thanks BuzzCat for clearing that up. Sorry you got a bad pressing. The stats on that are like 1 out of 2,200. Cold machine, bubble in the vinyl dough... who knows.. Anyway, I am glad I could make it right by sending you a new copy.... Also, thanks for including me in your radio show, i am honored. Brad

I am pretty sure its legit.. That is a master Lacquer disk. The coating on the plate is NOT vinyl, It is the master copy that should be metalized to make the plates that press the vinyl. I am pretty sure you could play this, but it is NOT made for repeated playing. The material that the lathe cuts when making this disk is soft. So it gets damaged with each playing and the the needle runs a risk of getting gummed up. Its likely that this is a Copy or test cut directly from the cutting lathe.... Who ever gets this I would recommend NOT playing it! I would frame it and keep it as a collectors item. Brad Smith

The show in Detroit added to the legend. People drove down from Canada, they drove up from St. Luis, they drove from Chicago they came in full form to share the songs of Blind Melon!!! I must say , we delivered. At a certain point, you are only as good as your audience. Arms up in the air all the way to the back, all the way around the balcony till the last note of our set. Its one of those moments when I wondered. Am I a rock star? Its the moment when my life stops and the dream takes over and I thank all who came to that show for that. We sit on the bus after the show compared driving stories from fans. How far they drove, from what cities ect..... and we are so blown away!!!! It's nice to be considered road trip worthy. Thank you Detroit!!!!!

Um,,, the shows are getting more and more intense. Tonight in Indianapolis Nico got on stage with us and sang Change and No Rain. Seriously the loudest crowd response to date. Louder than my bass, louder than Rogers's guitar louder than the kick drum. It was a magical night full of yelling and screaming. Mouthful of Cavities rocked.

Man, Nashville was off the hook. I could not believe how many people came out to the show. It was one of our better shows. The stage sounded really good we kick out some good improve jams. I hope some one recorded the show in good quality. I saw alot of people for the 3rd and 4th time from, Columbus OH, Atlanta GA, Starkesville MS, Memphis TN. I met some people who drove 3 hours who had never seen Blind Melon, what an honor. For me the people at the show MAKE the show. thanks to you all. Brad

I was sad when I heard about Jon, I think he bought one of the old road cases off an ebay auction that had "blind melon" stinciled on the side. It's too bad someone with so much passion passed away seemingly before his time. When I read that his favorite band was blind melon It made me bummed I did not know him better. Condolences to his family and kids. What a terrible loss.
