I am not a big Shin fan, but if that is him on the mp3, then that band doesn't miss a beat with him on vox.

Once we realized that rain was going to be c0ming down no matter what, we just made another added element to the show. That attitude is what made it a great show. Many highlights but "Cavities" is one of the best and of course realizing a dream and getting to sing on "Time". What a night and I still have not recovered...all well worth it though...

OK, I am 99% sure I am going to this show. Has any more ticket info become available? and does anyone know what time Melon hits the stage?

has been and always will be my fav. by any band... Hey I'd like to daze away to a place no one has known in a state of mind I'd could call mine that only I could own where I could hum a tune any time I choose and there's no such thing as time where I feel no pain just calm and sane what a place for one to find.

BTW Matt, what about that tune of yours that sounds like AJ. is it finished? if so, play it because you are BM connected even if it is six degrees of seperation.

@ Rachel... I have gotten used to people talking over the music because at some point after hearing it over and over, it just becomes part of the sound. @ Ryan...That is some crazy shit he is describing, but I totally understand. I have been in rehabs/AA for 15 years (sober 11) and I have never heard a story like that and trust me, I have heard some wild ones. I understand him even though heroin is about the only drug I have not done. If you abuse any drug too much, you are going to have hallucinations and paranoia. I am really happy that he got his act together and is carrying the torch for this style of music. As a matter of fact, his solo CD is incredible with a different singer on every track. I don't even like all of the artists, but I love every song. I think Slash did a great job of adapting his sound to the style of each artist. It was this CD that finally got me off of my Travis kick. I had been listening to nothing but Travis since the first time I heard 26 miles to Ludlow in 2006. No lie, I have tried to listen other music (some new, some old) but I rarely got through a whole CD before I was quickly running back to something Travis related. After listening to Slash's solo Cd, I have been on a huge GNR kick.

This has nothing to do with Shannon but here is "Move to the city" from the same show. I think Axl sounds great...if the crowd would just shut up. The song starts at the 2:30 mark. I love raw video like this. Note that there is absolutely no one watching the band...if they only knew
