Our babysitter had to cancel so I don't think we'll be able to make it to the show tonight unless we can find somebody else.

We just confirmed arrangements with our babysitter so it looks like Greg and I will definitely be going.

I won't have time to do it this year, so if someone else wants to volunteer all they have to do is collect the addresses from everyone who wants to participate (through PM's) and once everyone has submitted their address a master list of addresses needs to be sent out to all those who want to participate.

Greg and I are thinking about going if we can arrange a babysitter.
Greg found the band member lineup after doing a google search...apparently it's from when they were looking for a bass player.
Members Of Band:
Joe Tullos-Vocals, Guitar Greg Bell-Keys Terry McIntyre-Guitar Mark Efland-Drums Glen Graham-Drums ...will be adding horns

I was just introduced to them last month and am an addict too! Seeing them in Atlanta on New Years Day! Who's going? I wish, but we have to get back to NC after the Knoxville show. I heard that's a beautiful venue they'll be playing in Atlanta. Have fun! Twizted...nice setlist! I haven't seen them play a few of those new songs live yet, and I still haven't seen Seth do Black, Blue which is one of my favorites. Have a good time at the show on Friday. #sFun_mango#

We got tickets (10th row) for the Knoxville show on 12/30. We'll be in TN for the holidays at that time so it worked out perfectly. We initially planned on going to Asheville for the NYE show since we love that city and saw the best Avett shows we've ever seen in Asheville back in '07, but it's general admission and we decided we didn't want to sit outside all day outside the venue and freeze to death so we could get a good spot (New Years Eve in the mountains....brrrrr!).
The general admission shows are getting pretty crazy around here...lots of rabid and rude people all insisting they be in the front row. When we saw them in Richmond in July it was a nightmare...definitely the worst crowd experience I've ever had at an Avett show and I wouldn't want to relive it.

OMG I was so worried about that boy all afternoon. I'm glad it turned out that he's ok.

I couldn't see Avett lyrics and not play the game, lol! "River gonna take me Sing me sweet and sleepy Sing me sweet and sleepy all the way back back home It's a far gone lullaby sung many years ago Mama, Mama, many worlds I've come since I first left home"

Lol, you're right! They already have a pretty solid start...
January Wedding Sixteen in July November Blue
Then there is the lyric, "Warmth in the early morn chill my girl, warmth in the early April".
