Haven't made it in the past. Hoping to organize some CT melonheads to take the trek!

I'll be going for the first time this year as well. I'm heading over from Columbus, OH Saturday morning and staying until Monday morning. I was curious as to where people are staying? I know the FAQ lists hotels people commonly stay at but has that list changed over the years? Also was curious what time people start hanging out during the day? Excited to say the least.

Nel mentioned Quality Inn. I don't know if there are any rooms left. But, if you call, mention that you are going to the Vigil.

I’m going We’re gonna be camping nearby. Quality Inn supposedly has a special rate for Vigil. Lot of people are staying at the Red Roof next door to that, but they’ve jacked-up their prices on account of Purdue homecoming game that weekend, and a bunch are staying across the street at the Knights Inn for old times’ sake.

Had so much fun this year at the Vigil. My girlfriend and I were able to camp at Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground for the weekend. For those who haven't stayed there you should really check it out. It was great to see Mario and his wife Rosa after 7 years! We were able to sit and take pictures in the Galaxie and scored some new t-shirts. I was also finally able to meet Forum Member Ryan from Colorado. I really hope that someone keeps the Vigil going after this past year. All in all it was a great trip!
