For those who don't already know Travis' solo record "Beneath These Borrowed Skies" is meant to be out on 25th September. I'm guessing/hoping there'll be a physical release although there are no purchasing links up on his new website yet www.travistwarren.com
Anyone know any more about this, such as the track-listing ?
The player on his website has a couple of old reworked songs and some new stuff, so I'm guessing the album will be a mixture of old and new
Just found it's gone up on European/Irish iTunes already, not sure if its up in the US store yet, I'm impatient so I bought the download but I'm still hoping for a proper CD release.
11 tracks, 8 of which are new and three reworked songs. I haven't finished listening yet but sounds good so far. Over all it feels like its a fairly mellow quiet and introspective album.
Full tracklisting is: 1: From the depths you have made 2: Golden Lives 3: The Crossing 4: Sweet Memories 5: War Toys 6: Leave The Light On 7: A Winters Tale 8: Horizons Tide 9: Further Along 10: Bones & Time 11: Hand Me Down

Last time I had my eyes checked... I had 20/14 vision (seriously... you didnt read that wrong.. 20/14)... I have owl eyes.. hahaha.. Just the wrong font... even if it were white on a black background, it would still be hard to read. The only reason I could make out most of the names in the "special thanks" is because I know most of the people..
jennywest: It's beento long since anyone has written as beautifully as Shannon. I wish and try to find stars among galaxy's that I could write even kind of like him. It's only been lately since addiction has completely taken over, have I even looked at a pen.

gratefulandmelon: i can't believe it has took me this long to think of coming to this site, it's long over dew, maybe because the thought of shannon not being with us anymore still bugs me, & loosing my best friend a couple days ago made me think of him.

gratefulandmelon: me & shannon used to hang around some of the same people & places when i lived in lafayette all them years ago, so when he got blind melon going i was hooked, but when he left us behind i took it pretty hard & it still bugs me.
