I really like the original version of Pull the best. It took me awhile to warm up to the remaster.

I HATE, HATE HATE Dynamic Range compression & and the clipping that is often a result... I knew I couldn't be the only one. It seems we're pretty much outnumbered, though, which is probably the reason why a phenomenon like that can still be in use up to this day...

I prefer analog to anything digital. Better sound. And a lot of the old analog stuff like the Doors and others recordings are being over compressed and it totally ruins a good sound. It has its place, but is way overused.

I, personally, think think no songs on Nico should have been remastered. Those songs sounded the most raw to me, and I think that it should always be that way.
But, that is just my opinion.

NONE of my cd's are even close to my vinyl records. Amen to that! I vote for the originals. I feel one gaines a sense for the period in which the music was recorded. In many cases that is the most important part.

I with you 3arman, I love it all ,well for the most part. And acoustic version of pull is my fave too Matt. The other day while I was jammin out to the ipod, Satanic Mamas and Papas came on, I love this song( great job Glenn). at the end where God's Presence would start, haven't heard the song for like ever, I sang right along, didn't miss a word but I did speed it up a bit like on the MuchMusic I & I. But as quality issues, it all sounds good but I find myself listening to the demo versions more often or acoustic version. Just more raw and personal.
Tongue tied, nerves as big as boulders Why Mom, I thought I was your soldier My brother sits by me Buckled into the carseat Feel the thirst, it's time for pulling over Into the truckstop on my daddy's shoulder Out back where they plant all the trees ten feet away my daddy buries me
