Is really depressing, at least to me, but it did need to be done. Good part on the moderators It's almost like a part of Blind Melon died. It was one huge ride that I'll never forget. I remember hearing Blind Melon were going to reunite with a new singer and i laughed and swore and got pissed but once i saw the videos and heard the shows, i shut my mouth. You'll be missed, Trabby Cakes.

I wrote Travis and told him this place was here. I think its important to have a place on here for him. To be able to discuss what happens in the future and reflect on the memories he gave us.

i think its a good thing, but a sad thing, just because hes out. im glad hes not being neglected by the forum and bashed like axl rose gets. travis is my favorite artist of all time, hands down, and i think he really deserves a spot of his own, even if he were still in the band

I agree, guitarbutt. Nice to meet a fellow Michigander on the board! What about that snow? Roads are slippery as heck He really does deserve his spot on here, no matter how much hashing he gets, he will always be a part of Blind Melon's past and will be held responsible for bringing them back to life. That being said, I cant wait to hear his new music, and I'll continue to listen to his old stuff. I don't think badly of him even though the way things went down, it just sucks that it ended this way. But as they say, things happen for a reason.

In a way I am glad Travis is out, now we'll get more music from him, and in a wide range of styles. He's simply amazing

I'm in Kalamazoo, which is about a half an hour away from battle creek. The roads are starting to getting nice and slippery here too
