Hey all! There's going to be a delay in getting some of Travis's tunes available for you all... But, not to worry. The time WILL come. It's in Travis's, and the bands', best interest to keep things on the down-low for the time being. I'll keep you all updated when I hear more.

Is everything ok with the band? They're not breaking up already? Are they?

No. I don't really know what to make of it. The band just wants him to hold off on sharing some of his older stuff. Once Blind Melon releases their new record, Travis will share his tunes. Basically, if the Melon fans get blasted with a bunch of unreleased music from Travis, the new album may not get as much attention, which makes sense. But, on the flip side, all of the people that oppose Travis being the singer of Blind Melon may change their mind if they hear some of his unreleased stuff. It's a risky situation, really...
So, he decided to take the advice from the band and hold off, for the time being...

I see their point, but i disagree with it. I don't care how much other stuff Travis has out there. As much as i'd like to hear it. There is NO WAY, i'm not going to grab the new melon record, as soon as I can.

Thats a fair enough call. What till we get the Melon album in our hands, and then let us indulge in a little of Travis' musical history - sounds like the right thing to do.

I heard they asked him not to take off the shirt during the shows cause it would feel to strange for them. I wonder if all this is true though.

That just seems weird to me. Why would they limit him on the stage. Many singers, like many other musicians play from the heart. If a shirt comes off or stays on, it's something that happens in a moment or feeling of a crowd during a show. It would just be odd, if they set "ground rules" for his performance. When he's on stage "doin' his thing", the only thoughts that should be crossing his mind is playing the best show he can. Not trying to follow a certian set of rules. By the way, lots of singers, and musicians alike, remoe their shirts on stage. Trust me, it gets hot up there.
