Also Barb, whereabouts in England will you be? I'm not sure yet if I'm going or not but it would be London, on Sept. 8th (Blind Melon show!). I just noticed I already wrote that in my previous post. Were you too sobber when you read it Briady?

Make sure you stay in the good part of london! Been alot of stabbings there this year. I just heard that the other day, that London is one of the most dangerous european cities, I would have never thought. Maybe I'll have a place to stay at friends' place not far from London but that means I have to take the train late in the night...so my friend said I better have someone with me who'll stay there too. You better be in London to show me around or you'll be the only one to blame if I get lost or stabbed. You don't want to have that on your back for the rest of your life, do you?

SAY GODFORBID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If i'm not at the states for the vigil i will show you around.... I live about 40 minutes outside of london (by train) its not bad getting the trains late. Just don't get stuck in a tube (Subway) after its closed cuz they're all haunted. WHAT?! THEY ARE!!! I wouldn't risk it. Also as long as you stay away from Hackney, thats where "murder mile" is... and Brixton, i never feel safe in Brixton. I'm not trying to scare you away though!!! Definately visit London.
Good places to go are the obvious, Covent gardens, buckingham palace, and all that... camden market, you can't miss that if you're going to London!!!! Wheres the BM show gunna be at?

P.S. Apparently London is THREE times more dangerous than New York.
Not trying to scare ya though! I was well shocked when i heard that.... i've been in and out of london all my life and never really had problems... but then again i look abit psycho at times.

i've been in and out of london all my life and never really had problems... but then again i look abit psycho at times. I realize now that you're probably the reason why London is considered so dangerous. Blind Melon is playing at Astoria 2 (don't know in which part of London this is though). I doubt I'll have much time to visit (I do hope so!), if I go... we'll see. If we won't find out more dates soon, it will be too late for really cheap flights within Europe and that sucks... but I want to see other european dates before I decide.

"Never go south of the river thames" LOL Hey, I live south of the river Thames But like you, it's about a 40 minute train journey away from the center, so I'm ok, haha And it's great to hear you'll be coming to London, Barb. It will be great to see you ;D

Lee, I'm not sure if I'm coming or not, don't wanna promise anything. It all depends on other european dates. I have to do that as cheap as possible (and as many shows as possible of course, ha!). But I sure hope I make it! Whereabouts are you flying into and where are you staying? You are asking too many too difficult questions now, lol. I have no idea. I'll fly where it will be the cheapest. I don't know where that guy lives...actually, he's in the process of moving so maybe he'll live in another place by the time I get there (but still close to London). He's more a friend of a friend (although we hanged out sometimes when he still lived in Slovenia) and that second friend talked to him about it and he said it's no problem. can you translate that to non-Briady english? You mean London subway is complicated?

I mean you might get lost on the london subway. But dont worry It's not that hard.... It's color coded because before the 1980's or something, not everyone in Britain could read.
