Andy Wallace?!!!! WOW I would have loved to get my Soup signed by him! Did anyone get to talk to him?! I wonder what he thinks of all this.

aw...phishymelon, that sucks! Yes, you did walk up onto the stage at one point and you immediately had a confused look on your face like...hmm, i don't think i'm supposed to be up here. Don't worry, you didn't do anything bad while you were up there and it probably didn't warrant getting tossed bc of it, but those bouncers were like the not messing around, earpiece in the ear type of bouncers.
notes from the show that are sticking out in my mind -
There was a dude out front who was looking for an extra ticket for over an hour before the show. I tried to find him one but couldn't. Finally, as I was waiting on line to get in, CT comes out and walks by us and past the kid who didn't have a ticket. The kid says hello and CT says, "Hey see you inside!" to which the kid responded, "I hope so, I don't have a ticket." Without even thinking twice CT says "Well, why don't you write your name on this piece of paper and I'll see what I can do." 5 minutes later the kid was inside. I know these types of stories are commonplace with BM but really when you think about - imagine going to see your favorite band in the world, not having a ticket, but getting to see the show because the band put you on their list when they saw you outside standing in the cold. Amazing.
It was great to hear some changes to the setlist, I loved hearing paperscratcher. I got some good video and pics I think, I will have to review it all when I get back to DC later tonight.
Personal highlight of the night for me was at the very end of the show Travis is saying goodnight and thank you to everyone and is slapping hands with people in the front row. I stick out my hand and he sees me as he slaps my hand and says "Hey dude, nice video by the way." I admit I geeked out about that for a few minutes. In fact, many of the guys in the band approached me after the show to tell me that they really liked the video (CT told me it made his wife cry!) and Glen told me to keep em coming. No problemo!

Andy Wallace?!!!! WOW I would have loved to get my Soup signed by him! Did anyone get to talk to him?! I wonder what he thinks of all this. He was standing right next to me for a good 10 minutes and I didn't even recognize him at first! Brad said after the show that they didn't even know he was coming, that he lives an hour an a half away from Ridgewood and made the trip just to see the band.

Here's a link to the video that Keith made: It will be a damn shame if the Academy Awards don't recognize him for his efforts. He definitely deserves an Oscar for Best Director, Best Cinematographer, and Best Documentary!

I'll be recording the shows in Lancaster, Falls Church, and Charlotte. I don't have the best recording equipment, but I will do my best to make it listenable and I will definitely share it with the forum. Although, I won't be able to upload it until I get back to Colorado from the East Coast. So have patience, and hopefully I will have 3 new recordings to share before Christmas.

we forgot to mention how Travis didn't have a kazoo, so for Skinned, he played fake, mouth kazoo, with Brad on backup fake-kazoo!
