Agreed on all of the above points Badboy made. The band has a very generous and open taping policy, the only problem in Chicago was that they didnt notify staff at Double Door. Not that they dont have more important things on their plate than making sure tapers are taken care of, but without them knowing it was almost a "no go". Mark E This is my tapers philosophy on this issue. The band should make sure that tapers are allowed into the show. This should be one of the most important issues addressed with security. It only in the bands benefit to accommodate tapers. I can't think of any other way Blind Melon could get so much free advertising. Taping is not like it used to be. These shows are not being sold as bootlegs because there is so much free music out there anyway. With the INTERNET shows can be posted the next day giving the band free promotion and a great reputation as a band that loves their fans. The way music is being promoted is changing and I think this is one of the ways it is happening. Quoted For Truth, great post MarkE
