I'd never want to be a storm chaser... I like my comfort too much. I like a nice, warm, secure building when it storms! Most of the time, anyway. I do get that funny urge to run out in it once in a great while.

Those pictures and the video on youtube really make me uncomfortable. I am scared to death of tornados. When I was little (when my parents were still together) we lived in a very little town called Crowell in Texas and Tornados were around all the time. I remember one came right through the town and being 3 years old down in a cellar in the middle of a field is probably the most scared of ever been in my life. I live in Florida now.. hurricane central.. and I'm not as nervous about them by far. If you do a search for Crowell, I think there is still only about 600 people living there and there's one flashing street light.. the rest is nothing.. farm land, fields and a few houses. I guess Crowell is a pretty popular spot for storm chasers too.
Wierd how a few pictures will bring back memories like that.

Those storm pictures are really neat, made a purdy background.
