This RIP article is great! I'm still in the middle of reading it but I had to stop to say thanks to Matt for sharing it and to Ryan for transcribing it and posting it. Shannon was really wise for a guy in his mid-20s. I love reading his insights and opinions.

Hello Melons, I wanted to let everyone know that I have created a new section of the Blind Melon Articles website. This section will be for downloading Blind Melon shows. I will try and change the show every two months or so. I am attempting to only upload shows that have a lossless source. The first show that I have uploaded is the Roseland Ballroom show from New York City (02-17-1994). Matt was very generous to share his artwork as always. You can find his CD inserts available as JPGs or PDFs on this site: greenmidget.net/BM_02-17-1994_NewYork,NY/02-17-1994_Roseland.html ^^^you might just have to copy/paste the link in your browser^^^ You will need FLAC FrontEnd to uncompress the FLAC files after you have downloaded them. If you don't have that, I have a link to the FLAC page on the site as well. In regards to this show, it is one of my favorites, and that is why I started off with this perticular one. One of the highlights for me is where the band goes into the Allman Brother's "Midnight Rider" during "Holyman". I hope you enjoy this show, and look for some more shows in the future! #rock# greenmidget.net/blindmelonarticles.html

Thanks but I actually had a foggy, rainy, boring Saturday. Oh well I went to watch some acoustic covers and ate buffalo chicken strips so it balanced out in the end

Hello Melons, I wanted to let everyone know that the Blind Melon Articles website has undergone some changes in the last couple of months. The main difference is that I have added some extra navigation and organized the articles into sub-sections by year. I have also added thumbnails to each magazine article. That way you can get an idea of what is in each article before you click on the PDF link. So stop by and check it out when you get a chance! ;D greenmidget.net/blindmelonarticles.htmlThere is also a Blind Melon show from Ames, Iowa in 1994 that is available for download on the site: greenmidget.net/blindmelon_downloads/10-01-1994_Ames,IA/1994_Cyclone.html And there is a section near the bottom of the home page where you can see my photos of melon-related places such as: West Point, Mississippi; the old Kingsway Studios building in New Orleans, Louisiana; etc. . . I also want to send out a big thanks to the people who have contributed to the site: foreverlights, barbara, Matt, badboy1401, tripticket. . .
