Yes, Scott is married. His wife is a cute little blond girl named Sarah. Here she is in a pic we took at the June Raleigh show. She's wearing the green dress and playing the violin. She looks like a red-head in this picture. Seth sure does love his keys!

She was sort of a strawberry blond in Raleigh if I remember right. She's probably naturally light brown. Here she is standing next to Scott. I think the other blond is Seth's gf but I'm not sure.

It looks like they are getting ready to sing "We Are the World"
That makes me wonder, is there a photo that shows the whole famn damily? This looks like more than just the regular band, but it probably doesn't show the parents and all the siblings, or does it?

If I had to guess...that's probably the crew singing the "la la la la la la" at the end of Go to Sleep. I'm almost positive that pic came from the recording of Emotionalism in Asheville, NC. Greg and I stalked out the church-turned-recording-studio where they recorded the album when we were there in June. You can see the stained glass windows in the background.
I haven't come across an Avett family photo. They are rumored to be releasing an Avett family gospel album sometime next year so I would think there would be a photo of the whole Avett crew somewhere in the album art. For the record...I don't know if I'll be purchasing that album. I'm not big on gospel...unless it's Robert Randolph's or The Word's brand of gospel.

Oh come on now Sonya. You like Gospel music, and I dig Kenny Chesney's music.

Greg and I are headed to Asheville tomorrow for two nights with The Avett Brothers! If the venue lets us bring cameras in I'll be posting pics when we get back.

We had an awesome time! Last night's show especially was the BEST show ever! They played 3 of my absolute favorite songs (Colorshow, Matrimony, and When I Drink) and the crowd was INSANE. It was by far the best Avett Bros. show we've ever seen. Friday night also kicked ass and we didn't think it could get any better, but Saturday night they somehow managed top themselves. Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles were the opening band and last night Seth came out and sang during one of their songs. We didn't take any pictures, but I'll snag some good ones that I found online and post a couple of them here.

They need to get their asses to Europe someday Although mind you, I still haven't listened to all of their music (yet) (!)
