thats a very admirable quality.... money turns people so fast... you ever see those shows abut people who win the lottery they spend the money in a couple of years then there broke.. i also saw this show on thsi homeless guy who got 100,000K and the documented him. and he was back being homless in like 9 months.. but what was wierd was that the guy was saying that he wante dto spend it all at once.. he bought friends and family cars and dinner and drinks every nite.. he also seemed like he wanted to go back to being homeless. i think he felt more comfortable that way like it was the only life he knew.. and he didnt seem to ahvea problem with it.. i think he likes being freee.. like janis said " freedom is just another for nothing left to loose"

Some homeless people like their way of living. In a city not far away from where I live they offered a house to a homeless guy and he didn't want to take it. He prefered to continue the kind of life he had. If it's his choice, it's ok but it's sad to think how many people live this way cause they didn't have a choice. I remember once in Paris I saw something that really hurt me. There was a guy with two kids, begging for money in the subway. They were all dressed normaly and the kids had their school bags with them. I've seen all kind of stuff when I lived in Paris and it's sad and weird how you get kinda used to see homeless people begging for money everywhere. But the guy with kids was different, they didn't look like people who are used to this kind of situation, it seemed like they just got kicked out of their home or something, it was a really sad view.

Dave and Tim to Release Green Apple Gig
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds’ Green Apple performance at New York’s Radio City Music Hall will be preserved on both DVD and CD. The April 22 gig was recorded as a two-disc CD/DVD set, marking the first official Dave and Tim release since 1999’s Live at Luther College. In addition to material from the Dave Matthews Band’s canon, the evening featured the Renyolds originals “You Are My Sanity” and “Betrayal” and the new “Corn Bread.” Matthews has a handful of other releases in the pipeline: the Dave Matthews Band’s recent two-night run in Las Vegas will be released as part of the band’s Live Trax series and the group recently spent time in the studio working on its next studio album. The Dave Matthews Band will open its tour of Australia in Melbourne on May 1.

The show was A M A Z I N G !!!! These guys are so cool! And they played for almost three hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #float# #float# #float# #rock# #float# Woah, I had such a crazy weekend, Holland was so awesome and now the show and all... Anyway, I'll post more about the trip later, I wanted to post about the show, I just came back to Antwerp from Brussels! They have such a power! Woah, it was tripping... Carter makes me smile, playing drums so incredibly but looking as if he's just doing something totaly easy, smiling all the time, chewing his gum and making bubles while drumming like crazy Dave also has like a smile on his face all the time...they all have this great positive happy feel! anyway, the energy and the music was just amazing. Gotta love them even more!!!! I was also so tired, slept only two hours last night, then walked for hours in Brussels then waited for hours for the show (first outside then inside...). At one point I was so thirsty and tired I was thinking about going on the balcony (I was in front of the stage, in a cool position, during the second part I could see the stage really good) but then they just started playing better and better and I forgot about being tired and thirsty... I met some really cool people too! Yeahhhhhhhhh, I should go to sleep now, I feel pretty weird, too many things happened that I haven't slept over yet and I have a feeling beer was my main food since wednesday, I wasn't eating much, too much excitement I guess or I don't know what... If you ever get a chance - GO SEE DMB!!! I definitely will again, as many times as I can!

RedLightUnity, if you like DMB you definitely have to check them out live, you won't regret it!
Carter played an amazing solo at the end of the show, during Two Step. I can't wait to get the recording of the show! I'll post it here.

The Dave Matthews Band To Petition Congress In Support of Veterans
The Dave Matthews Band has announced that it will be petitioning the Secretary of Defense and members of Congress regarding medical care benefits for US Veterans of War. The group has stated, “We have been disturbed by the stories that continue to surface about the medical care being received by our returning servicemen and women. Supporting our troops entails providing them with the complete, timely and excellent care for injuries they sustained during their military service, at the very least. Providing this care is a moral obligation for our nation and should be our highest priority at home.” The petition itself as well as a bit more information on the issue can be found at the band’s website.
