Does anybody know where to find a hat like the one Shannon had? I think it's a sweet hat and I really want to get one, but I can't find anything even close to it.

I think this was brought up before... But, I think it's almost like a Boonie hat... But, I believe it was a Fedaro hat. I may be wrong... So, I'll let others weigh in on this. I'm almost positive it was a Fedaro style hat. That should narrow the search down for ya.

I had a look into it... it's a fedora, and i think it is from JC Dobbs in New York... I got one on ebay which is the exact same, but it is dark brown... however it is too small for my head so i cant wear it... if you are interested in it message me, and ill send pics... the size is 7+1/8...

A few nights ago i was at a trainstation with a friend on the way to london, Was about, 8:30pm....
I saw this old man with a hat on just like Shannons....
It was the first thing i noticed. And he was dressed kind of smart but not, as though he was a smart dresser once... You know that look?
I didn't want to pay too much attention to him but i couldnt help it, he had this walking stick, and as he walked he used it to push away bits of litter that were in his path... how strange is that?
He went upto the desk at the station and told the woman there that he is waiting for his old lady friend. And the woman told him theres an old lady on platform 3 has been standing there for quite some time, maybe thats her. So he gave her the name of his friend, and she went down to platform 3 to see if thats the lady the old man is looking for.
It's so wierd.
Well in my mind it is. The woman came back and said unfortunately the old lady isnt his lady friend and that he'll just have to wait around to see if she shows up....
He looked really sad about that. He looked like he was worried something was going to happen, i'm guessing because it was getting late, and cold, etc...
But anyways i dont know why Those images of him, brushing litter out of his way, and looking at the floor kinda sad stuck in my mind since then.
And he had a hat like Shannons.

That's sad bums, makes you wonder what his story is. Yeah i was wondering what his story is. I really wanted to make some paintings of an old lady waiting at an empty trainstation, and some paintings of that man waiting at the other end of the trainstation.... ...It's going to be a project of mine because i can't get the images out of my head. The man had bright blue watery eyes too. I'll make them stand out in the pictures. I'll post pictures of the paintings when i'm done.... give me time. I'm not as good at art as i'd like to be....so give me lots of time lol.

...And maybe if i do the paintings well enough, and you see them around one day... you'll be able to say you know the story behind the paintings, and that it was a true story

All this started with Shannon's hat. Now we're wondering about some old man's story at a train station in London. I'll patiently wait for your creation.

Definitely a fedora... i have one that is similar to Shannon's... what Shannon did though is he either wore it backwards, cause at the back of a fedora the rim points up slightly, but i think he more likely folded the front upwards to give the hat a different, and unique style... you know how you can change the shape of the rim of a baseball cap, with a fedora, it is a similar principle... the rim of a fedora however is usually folded slightly down...
