If men could have babies, I'd have a whole crew of them. I love kids. I think kids are great. Plus, I'm the last person in my family. I'm the last Hoon.

This is a great thread. He said so many cool things. Joel, that is pretty cool about listening to the wetlands, and reading Barbara's post. I love that show too. And I was just watching Letters last night, and heard a lot of those qoutes... "The Rolling Stones was fun" was in that one. So cute and humble, eh? Love those guys

I’m not sure where this is from but he said something about how they got the name blind melon, I think he said something like "this guy that lived in a graveyard who was blind used to scare all the kids that played in the graveyard... i don't really remember it

interviewer: "is this what you always thought you'd be doing?"
Shannon in fashion:"running 'round with tinfoil on my head?"

shortly after the music died.....I found a recording somewhere on a Tribute sight Shannon saying these words which were haunting, considering.
"...death.....death, if you do it in faith to God, death I don't think would be that lonely of a trip. Where he watches everything you do"
I wish I had copied if off of my old CPU.

"The Rolling Stones was fun" was in that one. So cute and humble, eh? I know... it almost sounds like he says "The Rolling Stones is fun"

Interviewer: I was just talking with some people about Andrew Wood's death because another Seattleite, Stefanie from 7 Year Bitch, just died from an O.D. as well.
Shannon: I knew the girl who sang for them. I met her right before we left Seattle. God, man, people never learn. I just hate it, man.

Before the song Soup, "Believe me, I want to stay alive. There's too many people to piss off."
Gives me chills when I hear it.
