Written by Christopher.... Song is pretty deep about Shannon. Thanks for the info, I can't say I loved it when I first heard the song but this info adds meaning to it. I still can't figure out all the lyrics though. I'm trying to transcribe the lyrics. i'll post what i come up with, give me a few.

I think this right....friggin brilliant
You didn't wake up before you hit the ground I didn't stay up long enough to see you falling You never asked for the world but then You jumped from the rooftop Because you had to have the last laugh
Look where you are Look where you are now Look where you are I heard you say Everyday above ground was a good one
You never see her hair in braids and blue eyes Because we didn't try hard enough She's still waiting to hear you sing a song for her
You jumped from the rooftop She still asks me
Where are you now Where are you now Where are you now I heard you say Everyday above ground was a good one
I want to live so much that I am going to die I want to run so fast that I am going to fall I probably said it once before I apologize This will be the last time This will be the last time
Where are you now Whare are you now Where are you now I heard you say Everyday above ground
Where are you now Whare are you now Where are you now I heard you say Everyday above ground Everyday above ground was a good one.

I said the same thing during the Travis Interview.. "Reminds my of a 50's sockhop and a Danzig song mixed together" I actually forget what Danzig song it reminds me of... I'm pretty determined to find that song today. Matt - what Travis interview? Did I miss that?

Awesome! Thanks Sonya! Matt I hear what you are saying about the Danzig thing. Just a hint of something from one of his later albums Danzig III or one of the obscures afterwards.

"every day above ground is a good one" is a Shannon quote. Not sure from where, but I either heard it or read it last week in my internet travels!

Word up sista Sonya! Beautiful! BEAUTIFUL! It has this 50's love song feel to it.....but modernized. Its gorgeous! I said the same thing during the Travis Interview.. "Reminds my of a 50's sockhop and a Danzig song mixed together" I actually forget what Danzig song it reminds me of... I'm pretty determined to find that song today. Matt, I do beleive the song you are thinking of is "Sistinas" off Danzig III. Off the top of my head that's what I'm thinking anyway. Others, This song really didn't move me on first listen either. After several times though, the lyric about "hair in braids and blue eyes" really struck a chord, almost made me cry, thinking of my daughter looking the same way. Knowing how much my daughter and I mutually benefit from our relationship, I can sort of imagine the emptiness NICO must feel. This is my favorite new BM tune so far, even musically it kind of hints back to "St. Andrews Fall" and the lyrics somewhat allude to that song as well I think, even though the subject matter in no way reflects it. Does that make sense?
