It's actually between Raleigh and Charlotte. Maybe we'll stop by there on the way home from the Charlotte show so Ryan can see it too. It's not far off of the interstate.

Yeah, I just pulled it up on googlemaps and it's like 17 minutes from my house! I'll have to make a trip out there. So is someone living in it now? I'd hate to be intrusive!

I was there with some other forum members at the end of Sept. and it was vacant. One of the forum members, Bethany (I think her screen name is Frehel) lives a couple houses down from there. She told us there had been a fire inside which is why it was currently vacant. Since it was vacant, we got up close and looked all around and took lots of pictures. The first time my husband and I went there was last year and people (including Bethany) lived there at the time. I didn't want to be intrusive either. We parked across the street in the church parking lot and then sat on the church steps and took a couple pictures. We tried to be as incognito as possible so we only stayed there for no more than 10 minutes. I'm pretty sure that now the people in the neighborhood know the significance of the house so I don't think they would be too freaked out if you were checking out the house. If people are living there again I would just admire it quickly from your car or the other side of the street. I hope you have a chance to get over there and take a look.
