Hey everyone. Just got my tickets for the Hartford, CT show on Feb. 29, just wanted to know who else will be going? This is great, i never thought i would ever get to see Blind Melon live, let alone twice in a year.

I'll be there. Should be a great show. Nice small venue. You should go to their website to check on the parking situation before hand. They have limited parking in a lot behind the club and as far as parking on the streets they don't suggest doing it. Cars get broken in to many times. There is a grocery store parking lot around the corner from the club that you can park in, but again you should check out their site. It looks that as of yesterday only 200 tickets have been sold so far.

The other cool thing is the buses for the bands is parked on the side of the club near the entrance to the parking lot. From experience of going there the bands are usually hanging out before and after the shows there. There is also a smaller club attached called The Webster Underground that they hang at sometimes too. Inside the club there is also a coat check service, so you don't have to leave your heavy winter coat in the car and there is a section reserved for 21 and over that is elevated to stage level about 50 feet from the stage.

To be honest, I kinda feel less excited now than a month ago when I decided I'm going, bought the plane tickets etc. But it's only cause I try not to think about it too much...it almost litterally drives me crazy when I do, lol. I need to focus on other things to keep inside some little sense I have left Still...no need to say...I'm soooo excited and can't wait to bee there and meet you!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean Barb. When I was anticipating the road trip last time I wouldn't allow myself to think about it to much (which only worked for a little while). It got to the point where I couldn't help but to think about it all the time and I got SO excited. I couldn't read other people's posts very often from the shows that were happening right before the ones I was going to because my imagination would start going wild. I would just lay awake in bed at night thinking about the trip.

LOL, are we crazy or what? Another reason why I don't want to think about it is cause when I start, I try to picture everything and how it will be but I know it's never the way you imagined and it's pointless to imagine it anyway. And when I watch vids or try to imagine I get just too excited, it drives me crazy cause then I'm sooooooo excited but I'm not there and I'm like "ahhhhhhhhh, I want to be there NOW!" it's kinda frustrating. So, it's better that until then, I just do my thing, live my life normally and not think about it too much. There will be time for excitement once I'm there, I hope I don't explode

Exactly. Nothing is ever what you think it will be. It takes a lot of conscious effort to enter a situation with no expectations.
