I have been anticipating this show for some time now and gotta say that I was completely BLOWN away tonight. God hearing those songs live takes me back to 1994 when I was in highschool trying to figure out who I was..before Morrissey and Robert Smith, I discovered Shannon Hoon and the music of Blind Melon..
I'm so happy for those guys that they've gotten a second chance with the band. Travis was very gracious and on numerous occassions expressed his gratitude for being given the opportunity..
Here are some pictures for the show. I was in the front row between Travis and Rogers wearing a black Puma jacket and got numerous handslaps for all the band members.
I'm not sure if anyone noticed this but it had been raining for a few hours up until BM's encore ( I could tell because the back door of the place was open). During the encore sometime around No Rain it actually did stop raining..weird..Guess Shannon was watching over us all tonight??

Awesome pics!!!!! That show was great!!! I managed to sneak up into the VIP section and was hanging out with the other bands. What a great night. The engergy was so positive. They sounded really tight...and Travis rocked. There were times where I felt like I was hearing and seeing Shannon and I got goosebumps during cavities.
