Well, the show was downright awesome! The crowd would get into it sometimes, but at othertimes, Travis would point the mic to the crowd and get nothing back, so that was kind of lame. There were a few times that he was like, "C'mon Aspen!" Despite the lack of enthusiasm by some of the crowd, it was a really kick-ass show!

Aspen may be a fancy resort town, but they aren't too cool for Blind Melon. I'm glad you and Vince were there to represent! ;D

I hate when the crowd does shit like that. I basically scream and sing throughout the entire show. (Which might explain why I have no voice left after the 2nd show) I just don't understand how you can't be singing every word, especially when the mic is hanging over you.

Travis put the mic in my face at the 9:30 club during Paper Scratcher. It only took him a minute to realize that he had picked the wrong girl. Just because I sing my guts out doesn't mean I can or should. You can totally hear it on the recording. I'm downright awful.  |

Thanks Ryan- yeah just found this place after I got home from travel to aspen, Had a great time. Was listenin to the show off of cotapers and noticed some of the trouble spots that people around here were talking about. To be honest...during Change, I love that first first and wish travis would have sung it instead of the crowd (enjoyed the fact that shannon did that but i never got to hear him sing it except early versions) Also do they even sell kazoos in Aspen? Maybe people were just in awe of Travis's voice..... I know I was, just closing my eyes and dreamin- awesome pics!
