The band was Hot! I've been to 3 shows... MO. 1993, Ohio 07, KC08. KC show was the BEST!!!! The crowd was wild and tough, jump'n , surf'n, and fist to cuffs too!!!! Thats the way it was back in the 90s folks. OK , now what the hell is going on with stupid ass people talk'n shit about Blind Melon. If they don't like the music then don't freak'n listen to it!!! These stupid ass people could ruin this for all of us. The band is gett'n sick of the negetive outlook from this. Don't know 'bout you all but I'm glad they Travis ... He's as close to Shannon as your gonna get. Good job Trav!! Sooo any comments to this?  ?? |

Out of the 8 shows I've been to in the past 5 months, the feedback I've seem to notice is that the skeptics are blown away by Travis. After the shows I always overhear people mingling around and saying nothing but good things about Travis and the reformation of the band.
It seems to me that in general people are being open minded to it which is all you can really ask for. Once the skeptics see the band live and hear the new songs for themselves, they can't help but be won over. ;D
I know there are still shit talkers out there, but I would wager that those people have not seen a live Blind Melon show with Travis singing.
It really helps that Nel and Nico are giving the band their support. I think it means a lot to most fans to see that Shannon's family approves of this.

I wish I didn't miss that KC show, Its my home town, I should have been there!
Anyway, "F" the naysayers. If they don't like it or don't want to hear it they can move on. Blind Melon has plenty of adoring fans, we are the majority. ;D

Kansas city show was super badass,, fur sure..
real intense ...........I got a pick handed to me from Rogers after
he played "wilt".. and got the whole bands autographs ......
and got pictures of CT and Travis with me..
Sweet show...my 3rd show..........10/18/07 ,3/24/08 ,and 3/25/08.
